Another Hospital Stay

Well, after a week of barfing, pooping and all around not feeling well, Isaac got "reset" again. This time he got the flu (which he so nicely shared with both his mother and father) which started with a low-grade fever and barfing. Mom and Dad both got over it relatively quickly but the boy just couldn't get back on solid food. He got mis-diagnosed with and ear infection and then (after barfing soy formula all over his aunt) he started having all of the symptoms of rotavirus AGAIN! So, off to the hospital we went. They put the IV in and, lucky for us, it was late enough in the evening that not giving him food didn't bother him too much. We didn't give him anything to eat or drink for 12 hours and then he was fine. Hasn't barfed since. What a ride!

This time, we happened to have our camera with us in his bag. So we got some pictures of him in his pretty nightgown.

All of these pictures were taken in the morning when he obviously felt much better!

If you look closely at the pictures, you will notice a bruise on his forhead above his right eye. Earlier in the day, he forgot he couldn't walk and took off for dad. Unfortunately gravity and our brick sidewalk won that round. Every single one of the doctors and nurses that cared for him asked "what happened here" and then laughed at his story.

Weekend Yard Work

Grandpa decided it was time that Isaac got out and learned how to work in the yard.
Hold on tight Grandpa!!
This is exciting!

Don't run over Grandma's flowers

"Let me drive!"

"Hey! Who left me out here all by myself?"

"I wonder if I can make it go all by itself?"

What a Fun Week!

During the first week of April,
our Kentuky cousins came up to Grandma Greenway's
house for some rest and relaxation.
We got to see them almost everyday. It was a blast!

What do you do when cousins come to play???

You go to Chucky Cheese's for Pizza. . .

You play games. . .

and you take fun pictures at Hershey Chocolate World!

Watch Isaac Move

Isaac thinks he knows how to walk. He forgets that his balance is a little off so we have had a few goose eggs from his nose dives. Never-the-less, he has several things that keep him occupied. These are the basics.
We have more video (I will post them later) but we thought you would enjoy another set of short clips.
