Halloween

Ok, so Isaac ended up dressing up as several different things this year.

First

We had a ward halloween "shindig" with a farm theme. So we got Isaac dressed up in his overalls a plaid shirt and working boots. I painted some freckles (that didn't come off for 2 days) and put an alfalfa spike in his hair. He was soo cute!

THEN

I had decided that he was going to be Superman this year for Halloween. Since I am not crafty at all, I shopped the nearest Wal-mart for his costume. Since I was unable to try it on in the store I bought a 3t-4t and assumed that it would be big enough for him to wear and still have room for warm underclothes. Well, you know what they say when you assume. The costume fit him perfectly. Unfortunately that meant there was no room for warm underclothing. So, now I am shopping last minute for a costume. Great. . .

SO. . .

I headed back to my favorite consignment shop and I found the perfect costume. OK, so it was the only boy's costume in his size. I decided that no one would really care if he was a dragon 2 years in a row. He is too cute.

He loved the dragon costume. It took him a minute to get used to the hand coverings and the hood. But he eventually succumed to the cuteness of it all.

We ended up trick-or-treating with Camry and Kailey Hintze. He had a blast! The first few houses, when the front door opened, he walked right on in. But, after a couple of houses, he got the idea and the pumpkin got filled. He trick-or-treated for 1 1/2 hours and enjoyed every minute. Really! He was mad when we went home. It was a great day.
