On one of the blogs I read, Amy's Creative Side they have a huge quilt festival called The Bloggers Quilt Festival where people submit pictures of quilts they have made, why they are proud of them and a story behind the quilt. I am able to participate this year because I HAVE A QUILT!! (several actually, but this is the one that I am the most proud of)Tuesday, May 17, 2011

So, what have we been up to???
Sadie got a baby doll for her birthday. I handed it to her one day in Wal-mart to keep her happy while Isaac was looking at toys. She cried when I took it away to put it back. So I let her keep it and when she got tired of it, I wrapped it. She was so happy to see it when she unwrapped it. She calls it "baby" and loves to hug it and carry it with her.
Sadie started to walk about a week after seeing her cousin walking at their birthday party. It was like "hey, I can do that!" and so she did.
She now has enough hair to style and so far she is pretty good about holding still as I style it. She loves her pretty hair (so does her mom).
Isaac continues to love school and was devestated the few times that we had a snow day.
Isaac and Ty go to the Lowe's Build and Gro sessions every other week or so. Isaac enjoys building things (we've collected quite the stash of handmade gadgets and toys) He gets a patch to put on his apron. We are on our second apron.
Isaac has become quite the little puzzler. He LOVES to do puzzles. We started him on the small 24 piece puzzles. He is now to the more complicated 100 piece puzzles. He needs a little help the first time he puts it together and then he'll take it apart and put it together again and again and again.
He also got to go with his dad one Saturday and spend some time with some firefighters. They let the kids try on their fire suits and hats AND ride on the fire truck. He had a blast.
